For 15 years, I ran a dog training & walking business in Brooklyn, NY. My employees and I took care of more than a hundred pets a day as if they were our own. Through dog training I was able to help improve the lives of many dogs and their people. I valued relationships over profit, and I became one of the most respected and trusted people in the local community.
I am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. I have worked extensively with puppies, adult, & rescue dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I am also the author of the book Dogs of Brooklyn.
After 5 years in the Catskills, in 2021 I moved to Washington DC and continue offering hands on, in-person positive reinforcement & clicker dog training.
Many trainers have gone virtual, but I specialize in hands on, in-person training solutions with rescue dogs and puppies. I teach everything from the basics to how to manage more complex behavior issues. From standard commands to socialization, manners & impulse control. I teach humans how to bond & communicate effectively with their dogs with positive reinforcement and clicker training.
