Puppy Kindergarten combines socialization, positive training, and play! This class covers training in foundation skills (including coming when called, loose-leash walking, wait/stay, leave it, attention, drop it, and settling), appropriate socialization to novel situations, dealing with typical puppy challenges, best practices to foster desirable behaviors, and opportunities for supervised play with other puppies. (6 weeks)

Puppy Party is a single-session class where your puppy has the opportunity to play with other compatible puppies under the supervision of a certified dog trainer. This play session provides a great outlet for your pup’s energy as well as the chance to socialize with other dogs and people. At the same time, you will learn about dog body language, play styles, and appropriate play behavior.

New class starts Jan 26, 2025!

Prerequisites:  Puppy Kindergarten or private sessions. 

This class combines socialization & fundamental agility skills with fun activities that can help your puppy gain confidence and develop a love of training. Not only will puppies navigate different situations and age-appropriate agility obstacles, but they’ll also learn important behaviors that are useful in daily life. (4 weeks)

Next class starts Jan 26, 2025!

Learn how to set your dog up for success, strengthen communication, and reward behaviors that build the life skills your dog needs to live happily in a human world. Using a positive, force-free approach, we will work on coming when called, loose-leash walking, stay, leave it, drop it, relax on a mat, building attention around distractions, and more.  Over the course of six weeks, you and your dog will learn to love training while having fun!  (6 weeks)

Next class starts Jan 26, 2025!

Prerequisite: Adolescent & Adult Basics or private sessions

Build on the lessons learned in our Basic Skills class while fine-tuning your skills as a trainer. Using a positive, force-free approach, we will work on improving focus around increased distractions, leash walking past dogs and people, staying calm in a busy environment, basic agility fun and more.  Working as a team, you and your dog will navigate more challenging exercises while having fun! (4 weeks)

Traveling? I will pet sit your dog in your home. I only take one dog at a time so your pet will get very personalized attention. You will receive regular photo updates & behavioral observations.  (Prices vary based on training level & care required, discounts available for training clients & longer stays)

Traveling? I visit your cat and give them some TLC while you are away. You will receive regular photo updates!
